Depending on the nitrate measurement results, the Greatest displays the measurement result with the appropriate backlight:

• Green - the product contains a safe amount of nitrates;
• Yellow - nitrate concentration is at the limit of the permissible rate of nitrates for a certain type of products;
• Red - high nitrate level.

The Greatest 3 measures the water stiffness level and displays the measurement results as 5 gradations:

• Soft - 0-160 ppm;
• Average stiffness - 160-240 ppm;
• Quite rigid - 240-360 ppm;
• Rigid - 360-600 ppm;
• Very rigid - more than 600 ppm.
