SOEKS-2 - is designed to express nitrate content in fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as to assess the level of radioactive background and detect objects, food products, construction materials contaminated with radio-active elements. Nitrate content analysis is based on measurement сonductivity of alternating high-frequency current in the measured product. The radiation background is estimated by the power of ionizing radiation (gamma radiation and beta particle flux).

Ecotester Capabilities

• Nitrate measurement. The mechanism is based on the method of bioproduct ionometry developed and patented by SOEX. It allows to quickly (within 3 seconds) estimate nitrate content in fresh vegetables, fruits and raw meat.
• Radiation measurement. Built-in counter Geiger-Muller SBM 20-1 (Rosatom), allows to estimate with high accuracy and speed radiation safety of surrounding objects, food products: mushrooms, berries, water, construction materials, etc.
