Dosimeter is SMG-2 the younger brother of the SMG-1 radioactivity indicator. Due to the modernization of the SMG-1, the new household dosimeter has become a more functional device, increased battery life, increased convenience and reliability of use, and increased memory capacity.

The dosimeter is made in a stylish design and is very similar to a modern mobile phone. Operation modes are controlled by a joystick. The SMG-2 radiometer is compact in size and is equipped with a color 2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240x320 points. On the radiometer screen, you can see the actual radiation dose, the average dose per day/hour, the particle arrival schedule, the measurement time interval, the measurement cycle completion level, as well as battery charge, ambient temperature, current time, and menu items.

In the SMG-2 the mode of cumulative dose of gamma radiation is implemented, there are two modes of audible alarm in case of radiation excess with the possibility of flexible adjustment both by thresholds of actuation and by volume of alarm.
