InLight OSL system and technologies

The InLight system measures radiation exposure using alumina detectors (Al2O3: C), reading by optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) technology. The reading process uses a matrix of LEDs (LEDs) to stimulate the detectors, and the light emitted by the OSL material is detected and measured by a photomultiplier (PM) using a highly sensitive photon counting system. The amount of light emitted during optical stimulation is directly proportional to the radiation dose and the intensity of the stimulated light. The dose calculation algorithm is applied to the measurement to determine the exposure results.
